Patriot EMS provides non-emergency and interfacility ambulance transport, wheelchair van service, and medical event coverage across Georgia. Our crews carry patients between hospitals, nursing facilities, and homes, and the people who do this work well build real careers in emergency medicine. Pay and Benefits Full-time position on a Patriot ambulance after you complete the academy and are licensed 100% paid tuition for the 12-week EMT Responder Academy, including books, uniform shirts, and testing fees Paid shifts available during the academy in our dispatch center, at special events, and on mobility transport operations, based on scheduling and availability Weekly ride-alongs during training so you see the job before you test Eligibility for Advanced Sponsorship toward your EMT or Paramedic license What You Will Do Complete the 12-week EMT-R Academy Pass your licensing exam Work as a licensed EMT-R on our ambulances, caring for and transporting patients safely and professionally Build experience that opens the door to higher certifications Requirements High school diploma or GED Valid Georgia driver’s license with a safe driving history Ability to pass a national background check and drug screen Ability to attend every class, finish all coursework, and arrive on time Our Commitment and Yours Patriot is investing in your start, and we ask for a one-year work commitment after you are licensed.
