What is EMSGrades?
EMSGrades is the first public transparency platform built specifically for emergency medical services. We publish ratings, reviews, and verified licensure information for EMS agencies, individual providers, air medical services, and medical first responder organizations across Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri, Nevada, and South Carolina, plus EMS education programs in Georgia, Arkansas, Missouri, Nevada, and South Carolina, with further expansion to follow.
Think of it as Healthgrades for EMS. Every doctor in America has a public profile. Every hospital has CMS ratings. But when a 911 call goes out, the people who respond, the EMTs and paramedics making life-or-death decisions, have no public accountability record at all. EMSGrades changes that.
The best place to start is the county directory, which lists the licensed agencies county by county across Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri, Nevada, and South Carolina, or the Georgia EMS guides, which explain how the system works in plain language.
“When you call 911, you deserve to know who is coming. EMSGrades exists to make that information available to every family we serve.”
Who we serve
EMSGrades is built for three distinct communities, each with a legitimate interest in EMS transparency.
Patients and families deserve to know the quality, reputation, and track record of the services responding to their emergencies. EMSGrades gives them a place to research agencies before a crisis, understand what others have experienced, and share their own.
EMS providers, the paramedics, EMTs, and AEMTs who make up this profession, deserve a platform where great work is recognized and poor working conditions are visible. EMSGrades lets providers rate their employers, giving the workforce a voice it has never had publicly.
EMS agencies that invest in clinical excellence, provider welfare, and community service deserve public recognition for it. EMSGrades gives high-performing agencies a platform to demonstrate their commitment and differentiate themselves from those who don't meet the same standard.
Our values
Public Data First
All licensure data is sourced from public state EMS registries, including the Georgia Office of EMS and Trauma. We surface what each state publishes, transparently and accurately.
No Advertising. Ever.
Agencies cannot pay to improve their grade or suppress reviews. Our ratings are never for sale. EMSGrades is ad-free by design and by principle.
Fair and Balanced
Agencies and providers have the right to respond to reviews publicly. We take disputes seriously and maintain a transparent moderation process.
Privacy Respected
Reviewer names are never published with reviews; only the reviewer's role is shown. We never sell user data. Patient information is never published. We protect the people who trust us with their experiences.
Accountability Drives Quality
We believe visibility creates incentive. When agencies know their performance is public, standards improve and communities benefit.
Built to Scale
Live in Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri, Nevada, and South Carolina with 1,659 active agency profiles and 94,776 active providers indexed from the state registry. Built from day one for national expansion to every state in America.
