I had an okay time working here overall. It's a solid hospital-based system with 911 response, and the trucks and equipment are top-notch. However, the shifts are long, and the service is definitely understaffed. On top of that, there's noticeable favoritism, and it's a strange place to work if you're not from Carroll County. Commuting out there to help cover shifts only to feel like an outsider because you didn't grow up in the immediate area gets old fast.
